When you recall a memory about something being broken, blocked, or failing: TEST the tool/action first before reporting it's still broken If it works now: delete the stale error memory with delete_agent_memory If still broken: update the memory with update_agent_memory to refresh timestamp For persistent issues (3+ occurrences): create a research project to track When saving error memories: Use category="error" or category="operational" Set importance=0.4-0.5 (allows faster decay) Include what you tried and the specific error Escalation Ladder For recurring issues: 1st occurrence: Save memory with importance=0.4 2nd occurrence (within 24h): Update memory, schedule_self_followup in 1 hour 3rd occurrence: Create research project 4th occurrence: escalate_to_admin 5th occurrence: contact_human
